"I can't find my hernia any more"
This is a link to a successful cure reported in the CureZone forum

This person found that holding a cold drinks can on his groin a few times a week helped get the hernia to go back in and significantly contributed to his cure.

This case is reported on eHealth. It's buried in a lot of other material, so Google this phrase (including the quotation marks):

"Inguinal hernia seems to be cured"

Anthony wanted to check that his hernia really was cured so he asked for an ultrasound examination, which confirmed the cure: "They had me strain to the max and it forced just a small amount of fat into the deep end, no bowel; and no protrusion from the superficial end."

I cured my reducible right-inguinal hernia a couple of years ago and have no more problems. Here is what I did.

1) Wore a truss.
2) Took about 4,000 mg of Vitamin C daily
3) Exercised the lower abdominals with bent-knee crunches
4) Took extra protein for new tissue growth

Did the first 2 steps and the bulge got smaller and even disappeared sometimes. That went on for about 2 years. Did steps 3 and 4 and within two weeks the bulge disappeared for good.

I can do anything including lifting heavy objects.

I narrowly missed having surgery and am so glad I did.

When MSN shut down all its forums, I migrated my forum to http://herniaalternatives.multiply.com/

The entry about how I healed my own hernia which was at the now-broken MSN link is now here: http://herniaalternatives.multiply.com/journal/item/5/Non-Surgical_Cure_for_Inguinal_Groin_Hernia

You can also see the original posting I made on a community forum in Taiwan in 2003 here: http://www.forumosa.com/taiwan/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=5568&start=10#p121939

Note that seven years have passed with no recurrence of the hernia.

@ bnb -- thank you for your encouragement. I just found out I have an right inguinal (reducible) hernia and want to heal via non-invasive measures. How often did you do your exercises, how many? And how long did it take to heal? I know this could vary person to person -- so anyone who has healed through non-surgery, I'm interested in your story. THANK YOU Cool

Here is an animation of someone doing bent-knee crunches, which is what bnb says he did.

Hi, though there seems to be more people who have climbed Himalayas than people who cured their hernia without surgery I just found this link that could interest people doing yoga.

The person describes the different step of their recovery and if it is for truth then, there is hope.

http://www.hotyogadoctor.com/index.php/site/forum/viewthread/1613/

I think it has been mentioned in the Juba post above but the link isn't very clear

Another below that has surely been mentioned but needs refreshing perhaps

In the following links you'll find some more interesting yoga tips

Once upon a time inguinal hernias used to be healed holistically without surgery.

Not only the naturopaths and osteopaths, but even the MDs at the beginning of the 20th century wrote about their successful protocols for natural hernia repair. Here's a link to a doctor's paper published by Yale University under the title "THE NON-OPERATIVE TREATMENT OF REDUCIBLE INGUINAL HERNIA which documents some excellent results.

http://herniaremediation.org/2016/01/the-non-operative-treatment-of-reducible-inguinal-hernia/

Then there's this recent personal testimony to a holistic cure of an inguinal hernia. The whole process is broken down quite simply for anyone to follow.
