Hi,

It seems pretty clear that Inguinal Hernia repair using mesh has the potential to leave the patient with chronic pain potentially for life.

One theory is that it is the suturing of the mesh which creates the problem.

There is another mesh called ProGrip which apparently does not need to be sutured and an early study seems to indicate a good outcome:

Does anyone have any more info about this and is it as good as it might appear?
