Does anybody have any insight on the tear vs weakness cause of hernias?

If it is caused by a tear then healing needs to occur and scar tissue is involved.

If it is caused by weakness then strenthning needs to occur.

Different protocols wouldn't you say?

Are most hernias caused by tearing or weakness?

Any thoughts?

Hey Steve,

I would be keen to get a reply for this also. In my quest to heal my own hernia, and after over a year, I am not really sure what is going on. I am however able to live my life pain free and still pursue endurance sport. It seems like a big unknown. I know one thing; they really need to update this website.
